Philoptochos Society formed - A Ladies' Philoptochos Society has been organized at Transfiguration Greek Orthodox Church with twelve charter members and one associate member.

Kathy Theodosopoulos, member of the Board of Directors
Philoptochos is the philanthropic women's organization of our Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America. Their mission, as the society's name implies, is to assist the poor and disadvantaged in our society.
